I called Crosman and the guns are being shipped UPS. The shipping is "free" but the $2.50 is a "handling fee". And yes, I bought one too. ;D ;D ;)

KBR97, see your other post "what's on FedEx truck etc" I left you a reply... as to gas piston guns, they actually have a more pronounced "snap" but it's faster than a metal spring, bang, it's over that quick. Yes, it can be as shocking as a metal spring to a scope. What I don't know about is the smaller size gas piston used in the Trail gun as compared to a full size rifle, question becomes... is there as much shock as a comparable rifle?
Interesting thanks for the insight. Being that I have never shot a nitro piston I would have assumed otherwise. I don't plan on putting a scope/red dot but it's still good to know.
I cant wait for it to get here. I have my replacement IZH 53m coming saturday too. Wife is gonna kill me! lol.

Yes, it has 3/8" scope mount grooves cut into the main tube, thats how the OEM sight mounts up, in the grooves with a screw lock. Just take it off and mount your scope. This is a spring gun howevere, so get a scope that can handle the double recoil.

RC what do you think? Springer rated scope needed on a spring pistol?

I use NCStar pistol scopes on springer pistols and never had a problem, and they are a bargain to boot.  They come with Weaver rings, and so, you'll need to pick up a set of Leapers Accu-shot rings in 3/8".  They won't move.  The scopes don't have an AO option, so, for shorter ranges you'll need to manually adjust the objective lens.  A piece of cake that takes only a few minutes to dial in the focus/parallax. Best price I've found is here:

Yea she wont care, she will just shake her head and smirk at me, lol. She does shoot once in a while. She has shot my rimfires a few times. She's a complete gun safety noob though, still learning.
