Tried to order a Crosman 2240 from Wally World today. Ten bucks cheaper than anywhere else plus free shipping to store. When I went to check out I see a red warning... "This item is restricted. Cannot ship to your location. Please remove item from cart." WTF >:( I don't understand this ??? They do sell Crosman AG's in my store (Connecticut). Unfortunately none I called had the 2240's in stock. I don't remember reading anything in the new gun law ban (CT) about airguns ??? I ended up ordering from Pyramyd Air. I haven't got a "restricted notice" from them yet. (still being processed). I have a feeling this is just a Wally World "feel good" policy.

Same thing here in California.  Can't get stuff they sell on the shelf even sent site to store. I sent them an email about it over a year ago and only got one reply that they would look into it. Guess they don't need my business.

Same thing in IL too. Can't have anything shipped to a store and they wouldn't even let me return a 1377 I bought off the shelf AT THAT STORE. They tried to give me every excuse in the book until I got tired of arguing with them. Had to send it back to Crosman myself for an exchange which wasn't cheap.
I posted a good rant  about it here a year or so ago.

Unfortunatly its easier to say no than to deal with the idiots that would flip out about them selling "guns" at walmart. Kinda sad how a hew crazies can influence so much.  >:(

CT, IL, NY, NJ, MA, CA and a few other socialist republics have scared retailers so much that those companies are "extending" the restrictions as their lawyers see fit, not neccesarily to or within the exact details of the law(s). Also, keep in mind WHO is writing these laws, the same Berkley grads who still haven't paid that illegal left turn/controlled substance ticket from 1979, so imagine the convoluted language and open ended sentences and...  :D

CT has now passed another anti-gun owner law, if you don't report a stolen gun within 72 hours of the theft, you are liable for it's use and the result of it by the thug who stole it. Basically, YOU are the criminal for having a gun stolen. Just more BS law to give the weaker-kneed folks another reason to not own a gun in the first place. Very crafty these lefties, don't directly challenge the 2nd amend. just put together a bunch of BS laws that makes owning one so difficult or onerous that many will just give up >:(

No, they don't. Have enough " Walmartians", i.e.trailer trash, to keep 'em in business.

I had to have the CCS order shipped to a friend in Indianapolis.  Any air gun less than 30" is considered a "firearm" in MI.
Big box stores don't sell pistols here.

More like good reason not to shop from WM.com, at least based upon my experience.  :(
Ordered something from them once using their .com site.  For over a week, it had said item was in stock.  When I ordered it, Lo & behold it wasn't.  Cancelled my order.  Happened to find it, on the shelf, of a Wal-Mart  brick & mortar store in another town.  After that I found them in other brick & mortar WMs.

As for moving back to VA, hey, not a bad place.
It ain't like it used to be but, eh, it's do.
