I was thinking of getting either the Williams blade sight or the diopter/peep sight. I was wondering if any you guys used either one and what are you're opinions on which is the better setup and why?

When I bought my 2300kt I got it with the Williams peep.  I should have got the notched one for a pistol.  They are very nice sights though.

I have had both type Williams sights, and they both worked equally well. I think the peep worked better at a distance though, focusing your eye on the target. Unfortunately my eyes haven't held up as well as those sights did, so I use a scope on most of my guns now.

Depends on how you are going to use the gun.  If pistol, blade.  If rifle/carbine, peep.
When used as a rifle your eye is so close to the sight that the notch in the blade is viewed too wide to get a good sight line.

This probably isn't the type of Williams sight you were thinking about.  This is the WGRS54 with a Fire Sight blade.  It's placed at the front of the steel breech to get a good sight line.  Sight came from Brownells.

I use the Williams peep on my 2289 all the time.  With the stock it works great, with pistol grips not so great.

The ones I will grab if I need to go in a hurry (ie tornado flies through town, or similar):
Crosman 101 (My Original).
Crosman 140 (Sears 126-19300).
Crosman 2289.
Daisy 953.
Crosman 1322.
Crosman 1389.

Looks like the blade sight it is...

They make different size inserts for the peep site. You would need a bigger hole for a pistol at arms length.

You can remove any peep insert. This leaves a "ghost sight" that can be used on a pistol length barrel to good effect.
