I'm a big fan of Bisley Practice pellets in .177 / 7.2g, but just lately I see them advertised as being 8.18g on a lot of site's
Have I got it wrong or do they now make two sizes of the .177 Practice pellet?

Have you weighed the pellets you already have? Then buy a new tin and see if there is a difference

I have weighed the Bisley Practice .177 and they come out at 7.7 Grain / .5 Grams and there supposed to be 7.2 Grain / .466 Grams
Hobbys in .177 are 7.0 Grain  / 4.5 Gram which is correct.
AA Field  in .177 are 8.4 Grain / .547 Gram also correct.

All were weighed on a Vibra Shinko Denshi scale so I assume they are correct. I have some on order for delivery Thursday so we shall see?

The new Bisley .177 Practice pellets arrived to day, so after weighing measuring and shooting they are the same as the old pellets apart from a slightly bigger chamfer on the head. The old pellets were sold by John Rothery Wholesale and the new by Bisley UK, both are made in Germany .
The weight is 0.5 grams / 7.7 Grain

JS Ramsbottom say they are 7.2 Grain, and Uttings quote them as being 8.18 Grain.
My findings come between the two.

So basically no change.
