Im gonna make a wide trigger with the old style brass trigger kinda like Mellon but not as wide it's gonna be 1/4 " Wide .  :-* What do you guy's think.

Looks like that will work.  You going to solder the two pieces together?  Now all you need is a supply of old triggers.  They are pretty hard to come by these days.
