Need Information on Shipping an Air Pistol

I live in Maryland. I plan to list my 2300S in the For Sale section.

I'd like to ship it to the buyer, within the USA, using either the USPS or a UPS Store. I didn't mention FedEx, because I'm new to Maryland & I don't know if there's a nearby Fedex facility.

What do I need to do that's different from shipping an "ordinary" package?

I know I can't ship it to individuals in NJ (I just moved from NJ), & some locations in NY, etc., & minors. Anything else I need to be aware of to keep the sale legal?

i think you should be fine --- when i got into this a few years ago folks said it was illegal to send PISTOLS thru the mail --- how else were you to get one all my airguns (mostly pistols) were used and bought off the classifieds somewhere and shipped UPS,USPS,FEDEX with no problems.also airguns are not federally regulated but i still wouldn't ship somewhere illegal.
