Question:
Anyone else dislike the shape of the 1377 (et al) trigger?

Question:
Any air gun shooters in Colorado Springs?

Sir William

And, I don't find any hep with a trigger shoe.

Fronzdan

You mean you prefer a straighter style?  Yeah I prefer a trigger with less curve to it.

Well, I like the width.  I don't think I like the radius - would like a larger, flatter radius..  Also, from the wear that I'm seeing on the Crosman trigger, I don't see brass as a good material.
Very nice piece of work though . . .

a slightly more modern-tech design:  http://crosmods.com/triggers.html  pricey, though.

I worked (Dremel) a stock Crosman 2240 trigger a little bit, took the mold line off and changed the radius slightly. IMO you can't do a lot more than that without making it to short. A trigger shoe helps with the width but has nearly the same shape.

The one thing you might want to do is give some thought to your grips. Do the fit your hand?  Meaning do you hold the pistol in a comfortable position for the pad of your finger to lay on the trigger without any tension in your grip? When you squeeze the trigger what's going on in your grip... are you squeezing in at the bottom of your hand?  All this is important to the release of the trigger and sending a pellet down range.

These are all my thoughts. I'm not a pro shooter...  just a retired US Marine.
Long days and pleasant nights to you...

No hijack intended, but... I have tried to find Grant Stace's website.  I hear he and his stuff is top shelf. Do you have any contact info for him (besides his address I see all too plainly)?

I've found myself at that site many times and can't figure out how to order anything from it.  Lots of great information and eye candy, but not buyer friendly IMO.  Am I missing something?

I inquired awhile back about the target trigger for the 1377 1322 and this is what I got (from July 4 2012)...

Hello Michael

Due to the popularity the target trigger is 6 to 8 weeks turn around.
as soon as were able to catch up we will be re-posting the cart button below the item.

John

Still no cart button and I really want one of those triggers!  Send an email, let John know we want some triggers  :-*

I reshaped the stock brass trigger and soldered on a brass face, like Crosshairs does.
Makes for a more comfortable trigger for me. Done a couple for my kids guns too.
