3.5" x 8", it's the Sherline model 4000 (Craftsman labeled). Should be a good learning tool for making small parts from brass, delrin and aluminum.

The big brown mother ship landed, 2400KT in .177 has arrived. Pictures to follow for prof of receipt. Shot three groups with it as I couldn't wait. The stock will take some getting use to, I can tell already but will adapt to it.
Guess I will go to the custom page and see what's next.

I know it's not a Crosman, but having two Crosman pistols to go with my two Crosman rifles and having great results with my two Hatsan rifles (125 TH .25 and AT44PA .25) I thought I'd give this a go, just came via FedEx:

The .22 had to go back. After putting 50 pellets through it and keeping all velocities recorded it only averaged 465fps with 14.3 CPHPs. Customer service at PA agreed that it should be shooting much faster than that. Exchange went in for the same pistol in .177
Tracking number from Pyramyd via FedEx says it should be here tomorrow.  My two HATSAN rifles both shoot within 30 fps of their stated velocities. Keeping my fingers crossed this next pistol will do the same, Hatsan claims 700fps in .177 with lead pellets.

The big brown truck brought a 2250 from BDS.  It's a custom shop gun and sure is sweet.  Put a red dot on it, shot a couple of carts and it's more accurate than I am.  I think this is going to become a pistol.  Fun shooter.
Thanks Brian. :-*
About waiting a min. or so between shots.  Do you wait to pull the bolt back and charge the valve or just wait to shoot it?

Who waits? Shoot and have fun. Pulling the bolt back has no effect on the valve. It is re-filling as soon as you pull the trigger.

Thanks Larry.  Might help if I understood more about how the CO2 works.

Like Larry said just have fun. By the time you cock and load it, unless it it is cold weather, you are pretty much good to go. Of my 5 co2 pistols the only one that gets to cold is the px4 storm but it is a semi-auto blowback pistol and it's fun to rip off a few quick shots but velocity suffers.

Glad you like "my" 2250 Bill, and +1 to the waiting between shots comments below. Def not needed this time of the year. In dead of winter in my 60 deg garage, I waited another 30 seconds past the bolt actuation and loading, that's more than enough time.

Keep a little Pellgunoil on those carts and the bolt o-ring every 100 pellets and that gun will last you through a ton o' fun!

Pleasure doin biz with ya :-*

Thanks Larry.  Might help if I understood more about how the CO2 works.

Co2 is a liquid in it's contained and pressurized state (inside the cart) and is a nominal pressure of about 870 psi. This goes for 12 gr carts or a 1000 gallon tanker truck, 870 to 900 psi regardless of container size. The action of the liquid escaping into a valve or even the atmosphere converts the liquid into a gas. All of this happens at optimum performance or efficiency at 70 deg F to 95 deg F. Lower ambient temps reduce pressure and efficiency and higher temps increase pressure and if over 900-ish psi, can cause a valve to lock up or be over-pressurized so that the hammer and spring don't have enough energy to knock open the valve (the valve resists the force).

Co2 "101"  ;)
