1701P came today. I had ordered it from PA last Saturday with their website saying it was in stock. Got a call on Monday saying it was out of stock and a new shipment wouldn't be in till Sept 2. So cancelled the order and ordered from Walmart.

I gots me a new stainless steel valve for my 2400 inbound! Or since im happy with my 2400 maybe its an excuse to build something new. Like a 20 cal 2260 tube based something! I got to many plans for cool stuff. I need to hurry up and win the lottery.

I will do that and... here is the video on the Fusion, from the graphics, it appears to have an expansion chamber with 5 baffles in front of it so, it should be effective, maybe more so than a TKO which is mostly spriral cut delrin baffles in one unit.

Interesting. PA rates it a 3 (Medium) for loudness??? No ratings yet. Anybody hear how quiet it is in person, shout out about it, please.

Ya, not sure how PA does their ratings Dave. Especially when they didn't have a rifle to test!?

If the Umarex video is correct to the current design, the LDC innards seem to look robust and follow the Air Arms and Weihrauch type designs (somewhat).

The concept is basic, slow the velocity of the residual gas/air behind the pellet, and disperse or disrupt it to deplete it's ability to make noise as a speeding column of air shoved through a small hole (muzzle).

I did check in with the Airgun Hobby Magazine fella, Tim Smith, and he is posted on the Umarex FB page as having test shot it.
