Thanks, but I am not sure how long this one will stick around. So far, I am not thrilled with springers, but then I really haven't given them a fair shot. Not sure if this is going to be loud or not. The Titan is actually pretty loud.

I might just do that... The previous owner told me that it only has around 200 pellets through it. Not even settled in yet. Arthritis in his shoulder was why he wanted a switch to co2.
First, I'd like to run a couple hundred through it myself, but it will be a couple more weeks before I get the chance.

Received a Weaver laser rangefinder at a killer price from Midway last weekend. 8X objective and can laser out to 1000 yards.


What is the holdover on a 2240 for a 1000 yard shot? 13'?

Shows how many people want custom parts at a reasonable price, and are willing to wait for them. Other vendors parts are usually two or more times as pricey as Melon, too high for my hard earned dollars. The money I save by waiting helps me by more airguns.

it wasnt until accustoms stopped selling parts that mellon got overwhelmed they had the same prices only ac offered more parts

Period.  I previously ordered and quickly received from Mountain Air a FT piston & valve.  It was about 20 some bucks more than Mellon.  However, Roy from MA included installation instructions, modded transfer port w/gasket and extra O-rings for the piston and the valve is ported.
Yes they cost more but you get more and in a timely manor.

Got a surprise from the mailman today my new 2240 arrived wasn`t due in until tomorrow now to get some practice shooting open sights then i`ll be able to shoot the stock targets

just ordered a flat top valve , pivot pin and 2 breech screws from a.c.customparts on ebay . no flat top pistons available ATM , but he said he'll have some up in a few days so i'll order it then .
