I received  a bug out kit (2289?)  and a 2240.
I have only had a change to slide a couple pellets down the barrel of the 2289.  Not enough to check accuracy, just to check function.
A LONG time ago, my older brothers had a pump pistol.  I think it was a crosman, but this was in the early '60s.
I seem to remember that it was easier to pump.
I have a feeling I'll be using mostly CO2.

They will get a little easier to pump when they break in. Lots of ways to mod them to make them even easier to pump for the first 4 or 5 pumps and still get plenty of power

coming from the UK

- A .177 match pellet flipper box
- Filled direct from a tin of 500 pellets
- Lower tray is depressed, latched and the tray shaken - loose pellets remain on top
- When shaken the pellets drop nose down into 100 holes in ten rows of ten
- Surplus pellets are shaken back into their tin via a cut-out in one corner
- The lower tray latch is then released and all pellets pop up in lines ready for use
- Foam-lined lid protects pellets once closed
- Easy to use and inexpensive to purchase

Yep, just one. Stinking co2 is costing right at 50 cents a cart now. I remember a dime each. What happened? 


That is one reason I want to get into pcp's more. When I retire, there will be no more expendable cash. Fixed income only.
