Yep you got it Tater  the LW barrel is going on the P17 but it aint easy
have to drill out the slide then measure the amount to turn down the barrel....then chop off leade / TP
got the piston shimmed and the trigger 2 stage done, filled the grips with lead and epoxy....

I'll do my best to document the procedure....there was some info back in 2004 when this model came out but no real tried and true info
Alot of them ended in failure but they didn't modify the slide enough...I think I know what to do

Well, it WAS in the FedEx truck but NOW it's in my hot little hands . That would be the Crosman 2240 that I ordered last week from  Amazon.com. Actually took 8 days for delivery which is the longest I've ever waited. I don't have "Prime" with the 2nd day shipping option. There would be NO WAY that I could stay under the RADAR of the local "Fun Police" with that option! I'm fairly patient so the wait wasn't too bad.

Anyway, I've already secured my first few mods that I have planned. Picked up a steel breech mid-week. I have a 12" barrel from my 2289g that will prolly go on my 1322c and the 10" barrel will end up on the 2240. I plan on re-working the stock sight to fit the dovetailed mount on the steel breech. I have a fiber optic front sight post to finish the first round off. Trigger tweaking and rebolting are a given.
All of that has to wait for now tho, I've got a yard full of leaves that are begging to be mulched. Later folks. Flex

Nice delivery from USPS that included a 5 inch LDC from TKO for my PC77 along with a couple parts for a gun I have yet to purchase... including a "Mod - erator" and stock adapter from Marmot

Not real happy with the Marmot parts as the stock adapter is missing the set screw and both are scratched up. I am sure Jim will take care of it, just sucks they arrived this way. Now I just need a P-rod to use them on!

All basically that you need to get from Crosman for seals is the breech gasket.  All the orings can be bought cheaper elsewhere like the oring store.  There is a sticky on the sizes you need in the pumper thread.

It ain't on there anymore but it was a LARGE shipping tube full of aluminum parts for my two in-progress mods.  I make what I can myself from raw aluminum, mostly 6061-T651 extruded.

And of course, once again our ever eager UPS driver leaves it at the gate in plain view of passersby.  I didn't even know it had shipped or I would have been watching for the big brown truck!!!
