Brand new Air Arms S500 full size in .22 caliber..I do not like magazine types btw..Should be here in the next few days..It was on sale and the price is almost the same as in the US, about $1,200 so I grabbed it pronto..

I intend to put an SWFA or a Bushnell Elite Tactical on it come Oct. when one of my cousins come home from the US..

Thanks Mr. BE..It's loud I will put a "muzzlebrake" on it..Have not fired it loaded yet though but I will after cleaning it thoroughly.

Clearer daytime pics..The S5 w/ Superlite stock is indeed light so I intend to put a heavy scope on it..I do not like the trigger it is quite far so I need to order an aftermarket 1 from Rowan..It is now very light I have deleted the 1st stage as I do not like slacks..

This 1 is flawless w/ no scratches nor abnormality on the bluing and anodizing..I sent the store lady $30 to choose one for me prior to my nephew's picking it up..

Today I went to the machinist to have some stainless parts lathed for this toy..

This thing is very accurate..50 meters is no challenge at all, I shot 15 pellets and the hole just got a little bigger..Yesterday ( no BS ) I was able to do a ragged hole with 3 pellets at 100 meters. The other 2 went a little on the right as I was doing 5 group shots...It likes 2 brand of pellets, the FX 16g and the AA 18g..It does not like JSB 18g and AA 16g...Sweet spot is at 150 bars good for 15 very accurate shots..

Right now I only have this crappy CP scope but it is clear even at 100 meters.. I removed it from the 2400KT and transferred it to the S500..

Yes, sir. I paid too much but they are rare and it is unused.

I hope that all the streaks (silver, blue)... and the new Benjamin versions all can accept many of the same parts.  I will have to disassemble this one  :o to see what mods are logical / do-able.

There are different variations but, yours and mine are in the middle of the changes to the Sheridan guns. The easiest way to spot the "modern" versions is the trigger group which is about early 90's I think. The valves in our models and the current models is same design but ours is brass, not aluminum. The earlier versions had different and more difficult valves to work on.

You have a beauty there and yes, we pay too much for these but hey, who cares :-*

airriflenut

Not what I want to be on there, that would have to be delivered by Brinks...in TWO trucks!!!

Back to reality...all I have coming is four tins of Monsters and some raw aluminum!

Nuts about airguns and just nuts in general...but I'm medicated.
