I'm thinking about building a gun just to sell. Not sure if its going to be a 13xx or a 22xx but wonder if anyone is interested before I even start. Any thoughts on this.

Treat people the way you want to be treated, Life will be so much better !!!

Build a 1740. Folks like those.

Since whatever you build will be an excellent gun, I think it's a good idea, and a buyer wouldn't have to go through the wait for Crosman to build one. RC

I hope you are able to do that - the ultimate - self funding addiction  :)
Are you sure you wouldn't grow too attached and decide to keep them?  ;D ;D

i watch the for sale forums daily
1377's just dont sell the way they used to
i think a pcp pistol would sell well
a 2250b with disco valve or a 2400 with disco valve
im going to test that theory when i get this 2300 pcp built filled to 1400-1600psi at most
if it doesnt sell oh well i'll have a cool pistol and keep on listing it until tax time if i need to.when folks have some extra stimulus funds

a real stubby is hard to get parts for if you are going for the 8 gram cart stubby
the only person making grips for them disappeared with everyones funds and guns that had any business with him
but the other stubby which is a short barreled 2240/2300 is easier to come by and have sold rather quickly

Ya it's cool, just needs a smaller rear sight and some 1701 Benji grips to make it complete.

it's true..  i converted my 2240 to .177 using a spare 1377 barrel and it.. is..  AWESOME.  The pellet literally goes in the exact same hole everytime

Yup, the 2300 with the LW Barrel is the same way, would be boring if it wasn't so dam much fun  :D
