Look what I found. This guy makes a trigger shoe out of PVC pipe.

its funny you posted this.i was looking at this a couple days ago
figured i'm going to try my hand at this.it looks easy i made a wide blade trigger for my 2300 and that turned out good brass over pot metal
now its going to be plastic over pot metal

That was the link i used. I tried to drill it out for a set screw i melted it. I think if you use a tap handle and a drill bit instead of a drill you could drill the hole and you can use a screw to tap the threads.  The pvc is very thin where you need to put the set screw. I put my trigger shoe on with a hot glue gun it worked great. You can put the trigger in a oven to re move the trigger shoe.

i want to make one my plan was to gorilla glue in place and not mess with the set screws
when i made the brass wide blade on my potmetal trigger i jbwelded it in place because i didnt want to find out if solder was going to hold
