This this is a beast!

It is a 2400KT that will be used as a pistol...mostly for shooting rats in trees at night (the reason for the laser and flashlight mounted).

I bought a BSA Edge Pistol Scope (2-7X32). I chose it because it has a 12" to 20" eye relief....but quickly found out that the viewing 'image' is about the size of your thumbnail. It just doesn't seem practical, or useful unless I'm just target shooting. It's a great scope, but I just don't see it useful for hunting.  Just to see what it would be like, I mounted a rifle scope. Who knew it would end up being perfect for this pistol. It's a heavy scope, and the flashlight and laser make it even heavier, but a double handed grip, and I'm able to hit a penny at 10 yards freehand. I'd say even though this gun looks ridiculous that I will be very happy with it's performance.

I have a plan on how to mount the weaver rail to the foregrip. It has a hole in it, so I plan to drill a hole in the foregrip and use a bolt, washer, and nut combination to secure it. Then I'll mount the bipod WITHOUT the tape haha (that's only there for the picture btw).

I didn't do any mods to the internals of the gun.

The breech and shroud are from BNM. If you aren't familiar with them, they hold a 10 round marauder rifle clip. It's tons of fun to have a pistol that holds 10 shots!
Sergio did a great job with everything. I definitely recommend his breech and shroud combination. The shroud limits the noise of the shot to about maybe 1/4th the sound of a staple gun, and the pellet hitting the target is louder than the shot...however I don't know how the noise levels would be effected by an increase in power. (The cups that are used in the shroud are only there to collect the lead dust so it doesn't get into the atmosphere and float into the sky and make lead clouds, which, once grown large enough, would theoretically rain lead, which would be a similar effect to a barage of bullets falling down on everyone. The noise reduction is an unavoidable consequence of these preventative measures. Just to clear that up....)

I don't think I'll look to do any power mods to this gun, unless I find that accuracy isn't good at 20-25 yards. I won't be using it past that range, and the most I will do will be a spring change or more likely just add a power adjuster and tighten it down. The power is more than enough for rats, rabbits, birds...and I think I can probably take out the raccoons at 10 yards with this in 1 shot as well, but I wouldn't go past that.

Anyway, this is my new pistol. I've been planning it for a looong time, and now I finally did it. It's a bit bigger than I imagined, but I wanted a 14.5 inch barrel and I needed a shroud long enough to do the job correctly. I actually kind of like how beastly it is, and it's surprisingly comfortable to hold and shoot. It does pop back a little when I fire it, so I need to work on keeping steady when I pull the trigger...

I'm going to do a fresh cartridge and give it a try on paper at 10 yards.... I'll let you know...

Thanks Mike!

The shroud is 16 inches long.... The breech was pretty simple to install. There are a few tricky spots, but once you have the design figured out it's a piece of cake. It took me a few minutes of staring at all the sections to figure out how it works, and once I figured it out, it was a very easy install.

I'm not really happy with the grouping, but it also could be the way I was shooting. The gun was balanced on the bipod, I was in a very uncomfortable and akward crouching/standing position, and just pulled the trigger once the crosshairs were on the red circle. The ones that missed, for the most part, went to the right and up a little bit. I am wondering if that's go to to do with the way I was pulling the trigger, or even the way the gun 'kicks' when it fires..

Either way, this was done at about 7.5 yards. I also did not clean the barrel at all. That's usually the first thing I do when I get one from crosman. I'm sure my shot groups will tighten up a bit after I shoot a bunch of Q-Tips through the barrel.

If those are 1 inch squares, then I would say it is shooting pretty darn good!

It's a great laser, as long as you don't leave it on for extended periods of time.
The flashlight is insanely bright, but...
The batteries are expensive ($15-$20 for 2, and this takes a total of 3)!

I hear you Mr. W those CR123A batts are expensive that is why I use rechargeables. Btw this is a warning do not install 3 RECHARGEABLE CR123A batts on your light it will go poof! Rechargeables often have much higher voltage at 3.7 as opposed to disposables pegged at 3.0v..

I recently ordered  these from LightHound thru my niece in Kansas..It's a red light for my rat hunting. Red filters will limit your illumination intensity/ range so it has to be a red led..That BNM rig looks very professional  8)

Solarforce is the Crosman of the flashlight world you can mix and match and it's actually a direct copy of the venerable SureFire 6P. Best regards.

Great looking gun you have there. I would need a shoulder stock to hold it steady.

Great looking gun you have there Woody.  Only thing I've ever found with the Cobra breech or the BNM breech is that you go through pellets about 10 times faster than single loading.  But in the end it is worth it.

What's the length of the barrel inside the shroud?

I've never wanted something so useless in my life.
