That is a solidly constructed lathe that can create an endless variety of small airgun parts.  Your pistol safety pin project turned out really well.    FYI - If you intend to cut much aluminum or brass you might consider purchasing a benchtop bandsaw and then install a bi-metal blade on it.  It will cut non-ferrous metals with ease & precision.   AE

Thanks alot for the tip ! i do have a small bandsaw and was wondering what blade to use, now i know. im happy you like the safety,your opinoin means alot.its just a hobbie and i get much pleasure turning my own parts.you never know maybe i can make some extra cash.

Found a old brass valve,so i tryed my first valve mod.And my 2nd safety this one has a better finish then the 1st one.

Anyone know where i can get lathe bits and accessories, did i spell that right ?   i suck at spelling  ;D

Try McMaster-Carr, Grainger, and MSC just to name a few.
your spelling doesn't have to suck, Google has a free download that will fix that with just a few clicks :-*

Here are some affordable 1/4" lathe bits which are good for small work.  Cost depends on material - HSS - Carbide - & where the tooling was made.  Be sure to get some center drills a live center too.  Harbor Freight, Grizzly, Little Machine Shop, Amazon, Ebay, etc. are good sources for affordable tooling & accessories.
