Ed, you is the man! Took it all back apart again and did what you said. I drilled it out 11/64 used a small primer pocket reamer and a RCBS deburing tool. Now it lines up. Thank you again. QUACK,QUACK,QUACK!
glad it worked out for you!
guess its a little late now but if you have the valve out again you can soften the angle of the exhaust port too.it will help with the flow of air.

oh! do the valve stem taper too.my gun lost over 20 fps with 10 pumps, i am assuming because i took out the light valve spring and my brass tapered valve stem went kaput.when i need to take my valve out i am going to taper the new plastic valve stem.i no longer like a valve spring that makes cocking the gun to pump a must,so the near stock spring stays

I swapped the trigger/grip frame, stock,  breech, and barrel from my modified 1322 onto a backpacker tube, and while I was at it I flat-topped the valve and installed a Mellon FT piston and C-clipped solid pin.   I also did some porting and smoothing of the exhaust port and added the little O-ring from a butane lighter to the transfer port.  I topped it with a Hawke 2-7x32 AO Scope.

With the leftover parts, I setup the 1322 with a 12" barrel and added a steel breech and the Crosman red dot, with a fiber optic front sight and MIM rear sight as backup.

I started with this:

A shooting buddy got me into .22 rimfire, so I've been taking a little side trip getting into my first firearms (if you don't count my Crosman 600s, which in Michigan are already classified as firearms  ??? ).
I've been playing with a Henry H001 and a Ruger 10/22.

BDS

Nice... Henry's are great and the 10/22s are the "2240" of the .22 LR world... is there any type of accessory or mod part that they have not made that can be bolted onto or modified into the 10/22 guns?

Heck, I've even seen bottle opener/ piccatiny rails for the forearms  :D

You can build one completely with non-Ruger parts!

BDS

Yup, sky is the limit with a 10/22, you see e'm at ranges from $150 "beater" to $5000 laminate stock, bull barrel, muzzle brake with GPS/Scope and bipods etc etc etc, those guys are almost as crazy as Crosmaniacs and thier $59 2240s converted into $500 pistols  :D ;D

So you remember drinking Ovaltine?  Man that was a long time ago and not that many folks actually remember Ovaltine.  Do you remember the TV shaw that used Ovaltine as a sponsor and allowed you to get secret decoder rings.

I just finished cleaning up and resealing a 150 1st variant for a friend.    It had some rust on the barrel and tube, which cleaned up nicely with 0000 steel wool and oil.   The CO2 cap was worn to bare metal, so that got re-blued.   The rebuild kit came from Precision Pellet, along with kits for my newest 38T, a 2100, 622, and 766.   That should keep me busy for a while
